Culture

Diverse perspectives create better solutions for our businesses and communities. As an LGBTQ+ woman in business, I understand the complexity of intersectionality as a marginalized person with privilege. Strong and vocal allyship in management is a vital component to creating and sustaining a strong work culture.

SPONSORSHIP, AUTHENTICITY, + ADVOCACY

Sponsoring Bright Talent

As a thought leader who speaks at virtual and in-person events, I bring next-level leaders into speaking opportunities so they can share the spotlight and opportunity.

Modeling Authenticity

Model authenticity and inclusivity show others the benefit of being myself. Living authentically means I can focus on excellence rather than hiding my truth for fear of judgement.

Supporting Inspiring Leaders

Sharing successes and failures makes us a stronger community. The same goes for leaders. On International Women’s Day, female leaders celebrated the accomplishments of one another.

Mentorship

I have had incredible mentors throughout my career. I believe every person should have a personal board of directors to gain insight, guidance, and support. I love people, so coaching and advocacy come naturally to me. I’ve invested in continuing education to strengthen my leadership skills. I am dedicated to mentoring and supporting next-level leaders.

Board Service

I’ve had the privilege of sitting on the board of Arts Every Day since 2018. Today, I serve as the Development Committee Chair where I work to tie fundraising goals to our three year strategic plan and leverage marketing activation to amplify our commitment to Baltimore city youth.

Arts Every Day envisions a future where every student attending a Baltimore City Public Schools has equitable access to a transformative arts education that prepares them to join generations of artists, leaders, advocates, makers and supporters of the arts.

The arts, for every student, in every Baltimore City Public School, every day.

Community Support through Corporate Giving

I am dedicated to supporting community non-profits that empower kids and minority groups. Through corporate giving programs, I have donated with matching corporate donations to Moveable Feast, Habitat for Humanity, and Arts Every Day. In addition, I’ve brokered donations to develop programming for Islesford Boatworks, The Station North Tool Library, and Creative City Charter School.

Islesford Boatworks - ME

A non-profit community-based boatbuilding program for folks of all ages situated on Little Cranberry Island, Maine.

Creative City Charter - MD

Station North Tool Library - MD
